Britney Spears‘ driving-without-a-valid-license case has been declared a mistrial after the jury became deadlocked.
The jury spent nearly three days deliberating about the case before Judge James A Steele called this mistrial this afternoon (local time).

Janet Jackson was rushed to hospital last night after falling ill just hours before a concert.
The singer was forced to cancel the show in Montreal, Canada after she “got suddenly ill during a sound check”.
She was taken straight to hospital and kept overnight for monitoring, according to a statement released by her tour’s spokespeople. No further details regarding the nature of the illness or her current condition were released.

The public relations nightmare created by Jamie Lynn Spears’ teen pregnancy hasn’t stopped Nickelodeon from working with the 17-year-old mom. The former Zoey 101 star has been meeting with executives at the network in hopes of working together on yet another children’s series.

Matt Damon arrives at LAX airport with his wife Luciana and their daughter Isabella, 16 months, in Los Angeles on Thursday morning.
The Damon family was accompanied by a female friend (Luciana’s sister?), whom they drop off at a residence en route to their hotel.

Britney and K-Fed are about to attend their first co-parenting class.
We're told Brit just arrived and K-Fed is on his way. The class will last a couple of hours. They will meet with a parenting coach, who will give them advice on how a divorced couple should raise their children.
The kids are not present.
Sources say Britney is actually looking forward to discussing parenting with her ex -- however, after arriving at the location, Brit was distraught and bawling like a baby in the bathroom.
