The rumors of an Apple slate Tablet continue. Now Crave is confirming the rumor based on conversations with Asus, who is a large manufacturer for Apple.

CNET announced that it is selling its WebShots photo-sharing site for $45 million to American Greetings. CNET had acquired the business in 2004 for $60 million in cash and $10 million in deferred compensation, so this definitely is a write-down of sorts for CNET. For AG, it means they can expand from online greeting cards into photo sharing.

A new 3G (European) version of the iPhone will be launched Monday in the UK by Apple - in a join promotion with Vodafone, T-Mobile of Germany, and Carphone Warehouse.
Hints of the European launch emerged yesterday when Bill Condie of the London Evening Standard tipped Vodafone to be the official carrier, which will be confirmed Monday. But Voda is just part of the picture, with Apple going for a three-pronged European strategy with carriers - again, responding to disappointment in America with the exclusive deal with AT&T/Cingular.
