What is CommonGate?
CommonGate is an open network of theme-based communities (Gates) where people can create meaningful connections and share relevant & trusted content with friends, family and colleagues. These gates allow the posts to be categorized logically AND for people to belong to any or all of the communities in our network, simply and easily. We all have a lot of interests, so CommonGate allows you to explore, create and organize all those interests and connections in one place. Your place!
We call it Social Blogging, because CommonGate uses blogging technology in a communal way. Where most blogs come from one author or voice, the blog based communities in CommonGate contain posts from any of the members, a communal voice.

TESTIMONIALS
"CommonGate is dead easy and effective... I like that fact that you can run around blogging in all different gates, and they are all collated in your user space." -
John Tropea / Library Clips
"Commongate's basic setup is more in-line with the sybil-nature of all of us: we have multiple personalities. If we set up one blog, its too noisy. If we have multiple ones, its too schizoid. Its nice to view posts by topic or person, and if you like a person's posts on baseball be able to check out their posts about football." -
David Wolber / Research 2.0
Commongate technology is versatile and can be used for other purposes as well, like virtual collaboration or your company blog / forums.
