Newlyweds Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz say they are expecting a baby.
The pop singer, who recently announced that she will be officially taking her husband's last name and performing as Ashley Simpson-Wentz, made the announcement in a statement posted on her blog.

Hollywood star Liv Tyler and her British rocker husband, Royston Langdon, have announced their separation, after five years of marriage.
Tyler, 30 and Langdon, 36, married in the Caribbean in 2003 and have a four-year-old son, Milo, together. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are rushing to the aisle and will wed next week in California, according to Internet reports.
The couple reportedly has sent out invites to friends and family, urging them all to be ready for a big day on May 16.

Federal regulators said Thursday they are investigating how an American Airlines jet lost a panel from its belly shortly after taking off from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport before continuing on across the Atlantic and landing safely in Paris.
