I find the news that ABC is going to adapt the Geico caveman commercials into comedy series fascinating and maybe even inspired. If they can keep the understated smug alienation of the cavemen intact without becoming preachy or annoying it might just work.

I saw it in action today, and it's pretty impressive.
The picture quality is excellent and the UI looks great, although it has a few small usability problems.
I only used for a few minutes on a coworker's computer, so didn't have really enough time to estimate the quality of the content, but the app as a whole is really impressive.

Satellite broadcaster BSkyB said Wednesday it would tie up with Google Inc. to deploy the leading Internet search company's suite of search, advertising and video functions on its broadband service.
BSkyB chief executive James Murdoch told reporters the British firm would launch an online, user-generated video-sharing site, its own e-mail service and a search portal.
He said the company planned to have the first of the new offerings up and online by spring and then look to move things ahead "pretty fast.
