Lala, a 14-year old King Penguin, goes shopping at the local fish store with his own little penguin rucksack and brings the merchandise home.

The cutest part is when the old lady at the fish store says: "See you again tomorrow, Lala-chan!" and the penguin nods furiously.

So cute! You have to see it to believe it!

Standing just 17 inches tall, she is never going to be a champion show-jumper.

In fact, the tiny mare is so small she would struggle to leap over a bucket.

But such things are of little concern for feisty Thumbelina who has just been officially recognised as the world's smallest horse.

The five-year-old received the title from the Guinness Book of Records after her astonished owners realised she was never going to grow any bigger.

She was born on a farm in America to a couple who specialise in breeding miniature horses.

These...

Writing With Water (Water-Curtain)

Liepzig based Popp has devloped a technological device to make a waterfall of a liquid screen and each drop of water is a falling pixel. "Water words" such as "Sécu", "Liberté" and "Vivre" fell from a device suspended over the breadth of a street - onlookers ran underneath and came out shaking themselves off with drops of water which had been part of the oeuvre a few seconds earlier.

You can type in the text from all over the world via the web. the effect is amazing! This video below shows the world-premiere during the "Nuit-Blanche" in...

The Glass House by Philip Johnson

Johnson’s home is symmetrical and sits solidly on the ground. The interior space is divided by low walnut cabinets and a brick cylinder with the bathroom inside. The cylinder and the brick floors are polished in purple hue and the steel comes in dark gray.
Architect Philip Johnson, born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1906, has become one of architecture’s most potent forces. Before designing his first building at the age of 36, Johnson had been client, critic, author, historian, museum director, but not an architect. In 1949, after a number of...

The Dream Room by Yves Behar

The Dream Room by Yves Behar has walls covered entirely with LCD displays. This “digital wallpaper” can be programmed to mimic ordinary walls decorated with hanging pictures or it can project floor-to-ceiling scenes of the outdoors or other vistas, creating the illusion of a landscape that extends beyond the room. So, you could potentially pull your sleeping bag into the middle of the living room one night, and wake up the next morning to a sunrise at the foot of a Chilean glacier.
