Straight from a new investors relations report, conceptual artwork for a buncha new Walt Disney flicks have hit the internet. Game-wise, images of super producer Jerry Bruckheimer's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time surfaced. Looking at pics of images on horses and dudes in a boat, I can't help but wonder: How's Bruckheimer going to work in a car chase, explosions and strippers? In slow motion, that's how.

Within hours of addressing the GTA series' past, Take-Two looked to its future. This afternoon, Rockstar sent out an e-mail blast centering on a black, monolithic Roman numeral "IV." It announced that the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV will unspool in exactly four weeks on March 29. According to the latest EGM podcast, Editor Dan Hsu claims that PS3 achievements will be called “Entitlements”. Of course they couldn’t just call them “Achievements”, that would be a blatant rip-off. Like with the innovative new controller.
Although this is a pure podcast rumor, considering the popularity of achievements for the Xbox360, it’s not hard to imagine Sony, and even Nintendo, doing something similar. Nevertheless, calling it “Entitlements” just sounds a bit, well, lame.

Top Cow's comic The Darkness is getting the hollywood treatment, according to MTV who spoke with Top Cow head Marc Silvestri.
"The Darkness," a comic book that is being turned into a video game, will "absolutely" be made into a movie as well, Silvestri promised, mentioning that a script is currently being developed, and when the game hits shelves in May, "We're anticipating that [the film will] suddenly become fast-tracked." They question is will the movie be based on the comic or the game. Lets hope the former.

The official Shadowrun site has updated with twenty (TWENTY!) new-ish screens of the upcoming FASA Studios shooter for the Xbox 360 and PC. I think it looks and plays hot, but I don't have that Shadowrun RPG baggage...er, preconceptions... um, expectations many fans of the series are saddled with. Don't give up hope, Shadowrunners, this is a fun game that will bring new gameplay to the FPS genre.

The good news is that Sony has secured at least one more exclusive for the console seemingly allergic to exclusives, the PLAYSTATION 3. The bad news is that it's simply a collector's edition treatment for the upcoming Activision video game based on Sony Pictures' Spider-Man 3.
While that made sound a tad unexciting, the bonuses should be of interest to Spider-fans as they include exclusive "Webisodes", behind the scenes clips, trailers and even a new playable character, pictured above. Yep, that's the "New Goblin" from the third Spidey...
