departed - best movie of the year. jack nicholson will surely win some award for his role.

it's really faithful to the story and structure of 'infernal affairs' - surprisingly because it felt as it it was another movie altogether (it didn't feel like it was a remake).

you need to check it out if you like mob epic

seeing 'the departed' today. you should check out the original hong kong film called infernal affairs. i think its out on dvd (i have the trilogy via overseas dvd, but i'm sure they've released it domestically if they're smart about marketing..)
